Your old printer was compatable with OS xp.You have updated your laptop to windows8.1. You want to connect to the printer wireless. What do you do? Is compatablity the main reason why devices which could still be used have to be thrown away? Is this a solution ? Go to the printer website. Look for a patch or firmware upgrade that would make the printer compatable to the latest laptop.
Wireless connectivity with a printer requires that the printer is equipped with the hardware which enables this. Software compatibility is usually achieved by downloading and installing the printer driver for your new operating system (if offered by the manufacturer and most of them do).
Check printer manufactory website for support and download the printer new drivers if its supported. actually I can say that if Microsoft renew the contract with printer company, then it will support that printer if not you can still work under Windows Xp.
Try to install and configure print sharer for your printer ....
The printer can only be incompatible if you are using wrong software . check which operating system you are using then if the printer doesnt have the Cd go on the website and specify the drivers for that printer and and correct OS of the machine it will work i can assure that
ANY PRINTER NOT COMING COMPATABLE THIS AVE COMING FOR DRIVERS YOU NOT GET THE DRIVERS YOU CAN ALSO DOWNLOAD DRIVERS IN THE INTERNET AND AFTER THE DRIVERS YOU INSTALL AFTER YOU CAN DO IT THIS ONE
