Which accounting software is used most widely in middle East?

As per my experience there is no yard stick to monitor which software is mostly used as it totally depend upon the size and nature of business but i come across with the following ERP or softwares most commonly used in Middle East

SAP

Oracle

MS Axapta

Sage

Great Plans

 

And locally made softwares for small companies as they cannot afford expensive solutions

I don't know of any certified reports about the subject but I see that we may find different names based on the classification of company sizes. I guess that SAP & Oracle will be the min systems used by large companies, Microsoft Dynamics by medium copanies, and idfferent local systems and something like Quickbooks for small companies.

Please don't forget SMACC that is mostly used in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Sudan etc.

First it depends on the size and the cash flow for the company , Second they can be clasfied as below:-

1) SAP ( Very Big Firm ).

2) Oracle ( Very Big Firm But most employee work on arabic language ).

3) Axapta ( Firm was using GP i mean Great Plains and they need to update the market status.

4) GP i mean Great Plains ( Most of the company as its common use and accepted Price ).
