نظام (إي أر بي) هو منظومة من البرامج لتخطيط موارد الشركات لتحقيق أهدافها من خلال إستخدام أفضل الخبرات في طرق أداء الأعمال أما (شيربوينت) فهو نظام لتوفير إمكانية التواصل الفعال بين مستخدميه وبالتالي لا يمكن تفضيل أحج النظامين على الآخر حيث أن لكل وظيفة مختلفة في تطوير الأداء ولإستخدامهما معاً يعزز القدرات التنافسية للشركات

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) tool a company can use to store and manage data from every stage of business, including:•Product planning, cost and development•Manufacturing•Marketing and sales•Inventory management•Shipping and payment

e.g. SAP

SharePoint is a platform can be used to provide intranet portals, document & file management, collaboration, social networks, extranets, websites, enterprise search, and business intelligence. And I would say SharePoint would be an extremely bad choice upon which to build an ERP product/tool.

For small and medium-sized companies I prefer

Advantages of SharePoint:

  1. You can build  Mini ERP Using  Share Point.You can Build reports in Share point ( Which is called performance point) You can link reports to any data base. (ERP , Accounting system , HR programs and Share point lists  )
  2. Can store data files ( Word , Excel, and PDF etc....) within the SharePoint system.
  3. You can link share point with the rest of the family of Microsoft programs .... Excel, Access , Outlook , microsoft Exchange.
  4. For medium-sized companies ... It may be less costly to  build mini ERP system using share point other than using an ERP System.

System, the ERP is a system that achieves comprehensiveness, accuracy and consistency of the data with the speed in the implementation of the business where all the data are arranged identical and consistent with each other and benefits to achieve speed and accuracy where work is in parallel either the Share Point is a system that works to reduce the use of resources such as a printer, fax, etc. It helps speed the use of network resources and there is no phenomenon of relationship.
