to me, the best way to reach that is to read authentic materials.
By example. Especially good when reading a descriptive/exciting passage whereby you can utilise the full range of innotations and inflections in your voice to "reinforce" the piece. Having then done the "demo" encourage your student(s) to read the same piece but tell them not to hold back but to give full range to ltheir feelings and emotions hopefully having learnt from your example.
