VIP customers are different and are not like ordinary customers whom you attract from your sales speech or by offering a big discount, instead VIPs are more approachable when you “BE YOURSELF”  because they will know when you fake it. That's why they are called VIPs

You always have to be on the ball as they say. A VIP customer had to feel that he is a VIP so you make sure to provide him with full attention, listen to what he has to say and them answer his or her question. You also need to take them out to a dinner or provide him or her with honesty and loyalty.

Be confident while presenting yourself.

Your dressing count alot, dress professionally.

Speak, when you asked or know the topic and speak politely but with confidence.

Do listen & have patience to listen others.

Study as much as possible because knowledge is power but never be too confident about yourself.

Be courteous and down to earth.

Your networking contacts is a very important here.

Usually it is not easy to access VIP and high profiles so easily because of security check and barriers and unless you are introduced or recommended, you do not get through.

Hi Omar, I may make an attempt to impress upon you to meet your requirement.

1. One must have a very clear objective for any business meeting at any level.

2. Meeting must be prefixed and purpose of the meeting must be defined and well understood. For example: An Introductory meeting has`been scheduled with an important person at a high level in that organisation.

3.One must prepare VERY WELL for the meeting as that leaves an impact for future communication.

4. If it's an introductory meeting then you must prepare as to what all is required to be highlighted by you during the meeting. No harm in making a note of it. One must carry all required printed or written materials to be handed over during the meeting. Such as your company brochure or product details; your customer referals, etc. Neately filed and addressed to the concerned.

5. Reach before the meeting is scheduled. Never be late for any prior fixed meetings.

6. Seek permission before entering the room at the scheduled time.

7. Greet and shake hands warmly and introduce yourself as:" I am Omer Mohammad Awais from ABC REal Estate Comapny based out of Doha. Thank you so much for giving an audience to me and sparing time from your busy schedule." If others accoompany you then you must introduce them also in a similar fashion. Present you visiting card with both hands and receive it also with both hands.

8. Do not take seat unless told to do so and before the other person makes herself/himself comfortable.

9. State the objective / purpose of the meeting. For example for an introductory meeting one may state as follows to start with " I take this opportunity to brief you about my company business and to explore if my company can be of any help in meeting your requirements. We are among the best in this region to provide real estate solutions to meet your personal requirements or the requiremets for the employees of your good organisation. We povide from small solutions for housing requirements to very large residential, commercial and infrastructural total solutions". And so on and so forth ....give some names of your clients with some project briefings to build up the confidence.

10. As the senior person whom you are meeting may not have much time to spare, you may take her/ his permission to meet the concerned person in the organisation to collect more details to evaluate their requirements. Request him if your good office can inform that concerned person for the next meeting with you.

11. Hand over the materials that was being carried and request the person to glance thru it and you highlight the important points from the same.

12. Before you end the meeting, you must freez the date for the second meeting if you feel it's required. Make anote of the same while you are there.

13. Thank the person once again and shake hand before you leave.

If one needs to make improvement then you need to rehearse or do role plays among the team memebers. It will boost your confidence.

Best of luck.

Dear Omar Mohammed Awais, it is your business that you have chance to meet personalities. so there are some business meeting etiquettes. One should focus on the business offers or the prestige of the business not people. talk great of your business not yourself and use words like "on behalf of"
