HMI is and will never replace men.
It is the technology that helps men from avoiding some errors of monitoring which are very dangerous sometimes!
No. HMIs are just a tool to intract with machines. they doesn't replace human.
No..
HMI is human machine interface, which is a device used to monitor the status of a machine or a part of the production or manufacturing line. It is linked to a PLC or a network of PLC and will read different status such as timer value, counter value, memory data from the PLC. Also it is used to update certain process value back to the PLC such as a set point for a particular operation. Different HMI manufacturers are having their own software to develope the screen, however the concept is same.
HMI are creation and helping tool of man that may never be considered the replacement of men. Man operates the HMI but HMI can never operate a man. That's it!
