i think the most well-known social networks are : - Twitter - Facebook - LinkedIn and the rest are like ghost cities : - Google+ - Pinterest for people who love blogging Twitter is the best and for the others who love to share pictures , groups , pages , products , items FACEBOOK is the BEST and linkedIn of course for professional poeple For me Facebook will always be the best :D

I think the LinkedIn is best Social Media Platform as compared to others, because you can get knowledge according to your skills and at same the same time you can find suitable job for you whenever you need.

I barely use Facebook and G+.
Twitter is my favorite for interaction, networking, and keeping up to date with what's going on.

Ofcourse Facebook comes always first to me not only for strong Social Networking Portal but really helps users to engage them in different Communities, Groups, Pages, also helps to promote their products/services/business through Facebook Business Page, then goes with Twitter as the best ever Micro Blogging Social Network and once Twitter will launch the Online Chat Option with the help of Odesk CEO, soon TWITTER goes to boom more.
