Dear Miss. Lamia,
Thanks for your invitation, I have't much Idea about this challenge, However internal and external cooperation always needed to fight with any challenge and achieve our goal.
I think teachers can make fun out of this challange by inviting students to design an assessment tool: a rubric, a rating scale or a checklist to be used by them and their teachers during the activity and after it.
Nope. You just watch them wotk in a team and then analyze each separately
I agree in principle with all the previous answers. What it does do is clearly define the "Leaders" within in a group, although it has to be said that "Leaders" are not necessarily correct in what they say or do but tend to take charge as a result of a forceful or outgoing personality. The more interesting students are the ones who "challenge" these strong personalities when they think that they are wrong, sometimes it can take a lot of courage and self belief.
I agree to some extent as collaborative groups should assess each other as a kind of critical thinking. Finally , a teacher can give a final opinion of students' work. Thus, students help teachers to assess.
I agree completely
