Disease Diagnosis is not within the scope of nursing. Medical Doctors are responsible for this job function. However, we nurses provide our nursing interventions basing on our nursing diagnosis which is highly specific to a certain client's condition. In this process, we nurses view our clients as a whole. We explore the client's physical, emotional, psychological and mental aspects of their health conditions. From there, we follow a process called the Nursing Process which includes Nursing Assessment, Nursing Diagnosis, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
