Undoubtedly, not only the teaching method; every gesture has its effect on your students. however, for all colleagues in the field of teaching i advise them to study a book entitled "The Learning Revolution" which I translated most of it for an agency3 years ago. It introduces new methods and definitely they are new to our region. One more thing, according to educators and linguists, nowadays, they say the best method is not to stick to a particular method. Suit your teaching to the teaching situation you have. By all means, set your goals and achieve them via the simplest and most direct method that your pupils interact with and set your learners in the focus of the teaching process. Wish luck to everyone.

YOU are the role model! How you speak and how you conduct a lesson will impact directly on your students' subsequent abilities. During lessons you are their guide and mentor and they will invariably follow your example.

Definitely. All learners need to interact in the lesson by communicating thier views and opinions regarding the differrent topics in the classroom. If the educator monopolizes the discussion by continuously chatting, not giving learners the chance to give their input, it may lead to loss of self-confidence and disinterest in the class.
