The impact factor: The Creativity - The Relevancy – The Substance
Content: addressing the customers: needs - desires – emotions – focus – informs – educates
Word of mouth : Friends & people recommending the product - Growth - Increased market share
For me the marketing pillars are:
1. Create meaningful content i.e. give your customers a reason to associate themselves with the brand. A story to relate to & connect.
2. Unification of the brand message. This is something that’s constantly overlooked by young brands. There should be one single message/promise across all the employed channels. It should be simple & to the point.
3. Strategic Engagement i.e. strategically leverage the relevant channels (TV, BTL, print, social media, OOH etc.) to reach out & engage with the consumer.
One of my favorite campaigns from the recent past:
Old Spice’s (Your Man Could Smell Like). A series of short videos were created based on consumer insights,236 million YouTube views,80000 Twitter followers in2 days, Facebook interaction increased800%,1.5 million Facebook fans now, sales increased by a whopping 107%)
1.Best idea to be genrated to propogate the product among consumers.
2.Communication tool used should be clear in message and easily reachable.
3.Product and its value given to the consumer should be perfect in the eyes consumer to consume.
