How to clone an old hard drive to a new one by using windows cmd ?

observe that the new hard drive is unallocated ( without any partitions )

Windows XP: xcopy

Windows7/8/, Server2008/2012: robocopy

These are copying commands not good for cloning, better to use third party softwares for cloning.

in cmd "ROBOCOPY" with certain options can be used but it is much faster and easier to use other external software and utilities to do the same eg: Acronis, norton Ghost, etc...

there is no built in command in cmd for cloning hard drive . there many other softwares to do that !
