how can you act aside that?? what will you say to the customer?? and what will you do with your leader??
I will request to the customer to wait for a while and I will check with the Team Leader and update.
1. Will focus & take brief details towards customer.
2. Apologize, And ask to wait for next few minutes until I update & ready to serve for the same.
3. Find out the communication gap due to the same I’m not updated
In such situation you face you should:
1. Stay focused and act professionally to help the customer.
2. Asking the customer to wait in order to update your list since such offer is not updated in your machine.
3. Check with your leader or any other employee to learn more about such new offer
Will ask the customer to a sit while I conform the offer from my immediate boss, if the offer is active in the market or its just a rumor the customer has heard.
If its a geniune offer, i would apologise with the customer and lead him/her on how to go about this offer.
Take his telephone / mobile number and tel him / her that you will call withing30 minutes. Go and ask your direct manager, colleagues. Then call your customer as your commited to reply him.
