Are there any certified training courses that can help?
Every one begins the career without any experience and therefore it should not be a concern.
Level of educational qualification will vary depending upon the type of career one wishes to make in sales. Such as technical / non technical; solution based / box selling; etc. and growth level planned.
You will agree no body is born with knowledge for a profession but we are born with Acumen or liking for certain things if you have liking and Acumen for sales then you have an attitude for the same so what is important is an Attitude which will drive you to acquire knowledge and skills while doing sales so it is not always necessary to have knowledge or skills for sales to start but you need to have an Attitude for sales and the necessary Acumen.
when I used to be a little kid we have tried to sell and buy items and the currency we used back then was just candy papers , what I am trying to say is that becoming a sales person is the easieset thing in the world, but what makes it differs from one to another is the creative mind and the experienced one. as long as you start to gain experience you start learning and then you start being creatiive. However, no one really makes it to the creative level, because the majority of people they don't take risks or gumble , if you don't have the courage to gamble and take risks, then you are so far from being a successful sales person.
Find online programs inclined to that field and climb the ladder, where there is a will, there is a way.
A dynamic grasp communication skill didn’t require any experience .
Because it’s generate attention & makes other to listen . After a while it’s become very delight & day by day you increasing your listener volume & get fame of star sales man.
Starting a career with no experience is tough. But everyone did it or is doing it. First is you to have good communication skils. Second as of my experience is to know/learn in details the goods you sell. That way you can offer your customer the best items/services according to his needs. Third and also important - starting your career it will be great if in the beginning your manager belives you and very soon you to justify his expectations.
Sales jobs involve earning the interest of potential customers and then converting them to customers. Salespeople are needed in almost every trade and industry, and good salespeople often have the opportunity to earn high salaries. It is not necessary that you have sales experience to procure employment in the sales field. Follow these steps to get a sales job with no experience.
start working as free-lancer and promoter...
samply, to any and every sales person who is reading this, don't consider sales as something that you should revise and get to the nearest customer to just repeat it, i am only mentioning this because alot of poeple do that ,
it is a sample process dear, you may do sales10 or maybe50 times daily and your not even in sales field in your professional work, keep in your mind that before you propose to me, you have to know what do i need out of your product or service, for example i might own a mobile and you are proposing me to buy your mobile , well you cant just sell me the mobile when i own a mobile, thats a waste of money for me and you will lose the deal.
Instead you could ask me some open questions about my daily use of the mobile ? how often do i use it ? what is my favorite mobile and why ? etc.. those are simple questions but trust me , gather all these answers and find out why would he change his mobile and buy yours, what's the advantage of your mobile and knock the deal out. but never sell without making sure the customer is happy after sales. if you are looking for returning customers and word of mouth
Observations and simple act of logic can be used in the sales, like ethical awareness and alertness associated with cautious personal traits, sometimes previous experience also savor up this kind of characteristic regardless of academic attainment or degree in college.
There are several key attributes of a sales person - some are found naturally and some are learned. Product knowledge and the sales process can be learned. However, a positve attitude and committment to the profession are key drives of success. As with anything in life, there are ups and downs in sales and the successful salespeople keep driving even during the low times. There are numersous sales resources available so I would suggest start by reading and learning about what it takes to be a successful sales person. Another great resource is to interview salespeople in your interested area to see if their attributes match to yours.
