Editorial design is part of Graphic design which focuses on Grid system and typography (Macro Typography).

Graphic design -  Using any visual medium for communicating a message by making a poster; typing a letter; creating a business logo, a magazine ad, or an album cover or even make a computer printout-this form of visual communication called graphic design. In other words expressing a message throgh visual communication.

Editorial design - Graphic design for publications that includes magazines, news papers and books.
