It depends with your level first , you can use like Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas , both are good  but if your asking about powerful tools that professional user are Final Cut Pro and Avid

I use Final Cut Pro X, but I am sure there are betters softwares out there with much more potential. Possibly Avid and Adobe Premier Pro.
