It has always been my believe that people choose their friends according to their characters.
That is why within families you might find positive characters and negative characters, but it is rare that you will find this in friends.
Additionally, if any change happens it will be a short term change, not a long term change.
I STRONGLY BELIEVE THE ORIENTATION OF AN INDIVIDUAL, AN INDIVIDUAL LEARNS FROM HIS OR ENVIRONMENT BUT ITS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL TO DECIDE WHICH ONE IS RIGHT FROM WRONG SO PARTIALLY INDIVIDUAL DO LEARN.
Well for me friends definitely changes a person's character and actions.
yes to some extent as long as a person do not have strictly predetermined policies on characters.
Definately, I have seen some friends who got dragged down by the wrong friends. Friends who share a different value system - lower that yours- can corrupt you or drag you down. I also believe that with the wrong friends you would be tempted to do the wrong stuff which you would not normally do.
People change through their own cognition ... social interaction wont impact or impinge on personality much
