Switzerland certainly has lots to offer, particularly at the high end of the tourism and leisure market: Alpine ski resorts and isolated chalets, stunning mountain ranges and idyllic lakes, and dynamic cities with excellent infrastructure.

It’s also a leading destination for business travellers, thanks to its strong business environment and excellent infrastructure.

The Switzerland is one of the greatest and most developed countries of the world. They have highest level of medicine and education also one of the best in the world (as I remember - Finland is first).

The Tourism (especially medical) is one of the most important field for the country with such offer of natural resources also: Alpine mount, healthy lakes...

First of all, Switzerland boasts of a perfect location – it borders with many developed EU countries. Also, the Alps attract thousands of tourists and it has been so for a long time. Besides, the reputation of Swiss hospitality schools has historic grounds. Over a century ago, first grand hotels opened here, they were reconstructed palaces or just palace-like hotels. These luxurious hotels and resorts attracted aristocracy, royalty and just wealthy businessmen – all of them being a very demanding public. Thus, to live up to their expectations and exceed them, hotels worked hard to train their staff perfectly. First Swiss hotel management have a long history dating back to 1950s. They are known to effectively combine theoretical studies and practical training, which is crucial for the industry. Besides, as a student of Les Roches Chicago, the US campus of the world-famous Swiss hotel management school, I can tell that Swiss schools are valued among renowned hotels and resorts chains, which gladly take interns and recruit from such schools. And this is a privelege that not many school can boast of.
