The concept of Account Management remains the same irrespective of the location. Difference would be in terms of exposure in handling quantum of business as Europe being more potential.
UAE and the surrounding areas are yet to put account management into real practise as I have experienced it compared to that in India.
Things might change for good as the market situation changes.
Account management in most of the countries or continents remain same but what changes is only the regional influence. As far as UAE is concern, most of the UAE's organisations have either Europian or American culture and they work as per their respective cultures which will result in same account management in most of the corporates.
Further to this, I would also like to add that Accounts management is one of the important pillar in an organizational structure and globally all corporates give the same importance to it and the only thing differs in it is their regional difference which makes hardly5% difference in it but the concept remain unchanged everywhere.
