An employee with average performance and a fantastic attitude would be my pick in an ideal scenario. Performance can always be improved by training, motivational speaking and guidance, but an attitude problem is generally harder to fix.
If a candidate is phenomenal at work however, and I can't find a replacement, I'll have to strategise how to utilise that knowledge whilst trying to improve their attitude.
Without aptitude one cannot show positive attitude and without attitude one cannot enhance aptitude. Attitude becomes important and is governed by several controllable parameters. It varies on internal initiatives or changes. Human mental preapredness to adopt and accept the changes is very important exercise before judging the attitude of the people getting it's impact.
The most common mistake that people in management role do is to drop the command / changes as a bomb without confidence building and wish the command to be adopted. Then start measuring the attitude of the people having it's impact which is an unprofessional and unsciencetific approach.
Wow! What a choice!
I don't think that either would be considered a favorite; but if I had to deal with one or the other, I would rather deal with someone who has a great attitude and low performance. Attitude is something that may be an innate characteristic and hard to change. However, someone who has a great attitude can be trained, encouraged and praised to increase their performance.
employee attitude is very important but without performance it means nothing .
As fara as this question is concerned, this depends on reqirements, somestimes you need performance so for the sake of this you would have to compromise on others attitude and some times you need behaviour so you would have to ignore the performance.
Attitude is a personal opinion, where as perfomance is what makes your shareholders happy!
Sure I'll pick the one with great attitude. This is my team leader.
for the one with bad attitude I can used him in technical field as designer, programmer,..etc this guy can deal great with machines & processes very well but never sent him to meet the customer.
Depends that i think a employee with a good attitide and low perfromance prefer other wise a employee bad attitutde high perfromace disturb the remaining emoployee co every person hestitate to talk that why is attitude bad remove that throgh tarining .
With good in attitude and Low in Performance. If attitude is good performance can come later
I prefere performance. I'm not his mother to shape his attitude,I am mature enough to handle any "bad attitude" and I'm very interested to perform.
First we all are in business and feeling can't be found in it , work is talking and all MUST apply the rule (( As long you give as long you will receive back )) But i MUST admit as well both are2 sides for one coin as i can't have bad atitude and finish well , how about dealing with internal and exteranl while i have bad attitude ? Also How i make bad result while i have good attitude , if i have then i MUST inside deep know what i ahve to do before any one ask and evaluate myself to know my reall status.
