Quiet vague question!

If the disputed property resulted in any amount settlement than a provision should be book after ensuring that the criteria has been met.

If the property is disputed from very long time let's say30 years than it would be treated as the property is owned because future probability of settlement is very weak.

Disputed property should be booked as provision if the Probability is more than50%. Also, a note should be made to financial statement.
