IQ judges the facts you remember and helps you analyse hypothetical situations to form conclusions.

EQ makes you convert potential  (see what an employee is capable of  for instance and where he/she'd be most constructively placed for max efficiency) into work.

It's important to have some sort of analytical skills, but its more important to deliver. Even more important to make sure each individual's potential in your team is being fully exercised to give the optimum results that every company desires.

An exceptional IQ and EQ combined results in the making of great leaders.

I agree because some of the leadership traits such as persusion and efective communication will benefit from EQ more than IQ. That doen's mean that leaders dont need a high IQ as well which is more required for other leadership traits like vision and providing win-win proposals.

Yes of course I agree with you because according to the most modern studies ensures that EQ or emotional inllelegent is or became nowadays more and more important than IQ and in their practical life are more and more successful and effective ,7 of every10 successful persons their EQ are higher than IQ

Despite reading a lot about the importance of EQand its predominance ,  I have always believed that you need IQ to use your EQ.

You see the word LEARER does not mean Manager (BOSS), leaders have humality, down to earth and they are not the smartest people. However, leader are people focused on what they do, deligating responsibilities to the right people whom are considered as leaders too. Emotional inteligence or feelings do not affect the professional attitude of leaders or personal relation of any leader but they would to a manager (BOSS)

Dear All,

Emotional Intelligence is most important than IQ. All people knows ,But in implementation stage it fails due to sudden change in mind. EI is important to reduce the role stress .Many research studies also tells like that.My PhD study also gives datas like that only.

If you are dealing with people all the time, Good EQ would be helpful and if your business involves numbers, book keeping, problem solving etc, Good IQ is more helpful.

It depends on the situation, however to be a "Good Leader", a combination of both is essential.

The real "LEADER" is! You can try to theorize the receipt but doesn't really exist ! Any LEADER

has their own differences who make him unique and different from others.

The difference between a leader and a boss is; a boss says "you do it" while a leader says "let's do it". The most popular leaders have a charismatic character which distinguishes them from ordinary person, that's why they can drive people more than others. Therefore it is important for a leader to have a strong emotional intelligence to understand the behaviour of others and act accordingly.
