 According to mathematical way, the difference between standard deviation and variance are the measure on how you spread out the number are., The standard deviation multiply as the square root of the variance that gives a value in the same unit which easier to interpret in the normal concept of curve or parametric.

It is also a measure of dispersion used to asses how far individual data point from the mean, or average in the set of data to make an accurate conclusion.
