A Schedule Network Diagram is a graphic representation of project activities logically sequenced. Based on Schedule Network Diagram and other data, you can develop the Project Schedule. At the beginning, Project Schedule and Schedule Baseline are equal. The main difference between Project Schedule and Schedule Baseline is that Project Schedule is the actual schedule whereas Schedule Baseline is the plan schedule (Project Schedule changes as the project is develop whereas Schedule Baseline can be only changed by approved changes). This way, you can evaluate schedule performance comparing Project Schedule with Schedule Baseline. On the other hand, Schedule Model supports the creation of the output necessary to control the project and also provides a platform to perform what-if analysis. Schedule Model integrates a scheduling method, with a scheduling tool and project-specific data and information.
