You might have done some specialization in your college/university or holding a diploma.
You should work hard to learn them.
Try Implementing your specialty in to real time scenario.
If you are a programmer work something in building software application for both desktop based and web applications based.
Build a portfolio of you demo works.
You should select a target organization and get prepared to get in.
Study different organizational behavior their strategies and their way of working as a team, management etc.
Get some research on international market of your desired job and get yourself prepared to get in them.
At least to be taken for interview.
There you will learn more yourself what you will be needing to get your desired job.

As a fresher, you need more knowledge because going to industry is not easy.
The challenges are too many.
You boss want you to do something that is not possible just because he is paying you.
Moreover, you must know your strength and your weakness in your field.
Then, learn everyday because no knowledge is waste.
If you are in field of IT, fine, do more personal project because after getting job you can real lean any new thing.
