How do you unlock the background in photoshop?

Double click on your major layer, you will find an option to unlock your background.

WINDOW

LAYERS

OR SIMPLY CLICK F7 TO SHOW LAYERS TAB

GO TO LAYERS TAB

DOUBLE CLICK THE BACGROUND LAYER

PRESS OK .

 

NOTE: IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE LAYER NAME TO SPECIFY EACH LAYER YOU WILL MAKE JUST RENAME IT BEFORE YOU PRESS OK.

On the layers just double click the packlock icon or drag down the padlock icon to the recycle bin to unlock it
