As my last10 years were in Imports operations, according to CFR Incoterms2010, transit damage is responsibility of the buyer. Insurance problems can resolved under Force Majeure. Similarly, the short supply item, if lost during transit when sea and weather were in bad mood, no one can do anything. Therefore, under Force Mature. both parties shall sit together on a cup of tea and resolve the damage cost. I think i will work!
