Active listening is key in all forms of communications at all levels. You always look for the cues and seek clarification to ensure understanding of message being conveyed. Be sensitive and respectful to the recipients of the message and their culture.
You know your points are getting through by the volume and nature of questions you get.
Put yourselves in the shoes of listener, and analyse how you will perceive the point you are trying to communicate.
