How to install any Package with the extension .tar.gz in ubuntu instead of .deb? And what if you don't know its dependencies?

.tar.gz files are not packed by os itself. they are individular files pack. So you wouldn't be able to use any package installation commands to install it. what you need to do is uncompress it and move it into target location, the installation is done.

Becuase of tar.gz is NOT a package, so it wouldn't show up any dependencies. you need to finger out the dependencies by yourself. that means you need to have rich experiences of the OS itself. :D
