What are the factors you consider when you select a candidate for accountant position in a mid level company?

First Is he / she know really the aim of accounting , then MUST be expert in the section needed and not just have the information without practise it.

Knowlede & Skill in Accounting, Practical Exposure in the relevant field and Of course his Interpersonal & Communication Abilities.

1) Candidate should possess have a strong fundamental accounting knowledge.

2) Should be accurate in mathematical skills

3) Good communication skill

4) Knowledge of banking procedures.

5) Should posses the good analytical skill in terms of ledger scrutiny, MIS reports.

6) Should be updated on the taxations and relevant laws prevailing in the region.

7) Strong grasping power and ability to learn quickly.

First thing, principally strong in accounts, ability to understand transactions in accounting sense, accuracy and clarity of thought.
