Very tricky question, I would like to say its a

A. Psychological pricing

as we all know all the products introduced in the market have profit level to what it should be and the other side we see, products keeps increase the price from time to time.

Its a mental game of marketing to make see consumers a extra ordinary benefits or cheaper price,  but it just a infactuation only.
