Reservation means to withheld or secure before time. It is similar to Copyright which was originated in1910 at the Buenos Aires convention. The objective of it was to provide protection to the secured rights of a content writer through a system of adding a notice in the start of a work. Many developments took place since then. Now it is applied to all the creative works including books. It is a vast subject but in short we can develop an understanding of it as follows.

The notice of copyright should be written in clear words and correctly spelled out to prevent any ambiguity in its implementation. The statement should include all the phenomena you want to put restrictions on regarding this work of your's; reprint, republish, photocopying etc. This notice should be clearly displayed at the start of your work so that any reader can't have a possibility to skip it.

Under this copyright law, which slightly varies from country to country, the content writer holds the right to legal action against any infringement.
