Mainly there are2 types of ventilation fans. One is used to exhaust air from the building and the other to introduce the fresh air in the building.
For exhausting the air we will use Dome type spun aluminum casing centrifugal fans either direct driven type or belt driven type. This is applicable for toilet exhaust, operation theater etc. For car part exhaust we use cabinet type centrifugal fans.
For small toilets like that of residential housed we use wall mounted axial fan.
For fresh air introduction to the building we use centrifugal fans cabinet type or axial fans,
