It is very common question that many young people ask. It happens normally we who are educated in sub-continent and have not been provided with proper career coaching. I have written a detail article on LinkedIn and you can see it here (URL removed due to policy violation. Please contact support for further information.) OR http://discoverinnerself.blogspot.com/
Good luck and best wishes for your career.
1st Start by networking, make connections and friends , that has been my best approach so far
2nd make a good skillset , try to get involved in projects that can be written as achievments
3rd give your self a daily task of one hour to post your resume.
Hope this helps
Try to rephrase your to question to more assertive " I WANT TO BEI IN OR DO...ETC " more confident and with your looks you will get the job :)
Face the challanges.
It is all about loving what you do Syed. A job is no longer a job, if you find it challenging, if you are passionate about it and most important if you are progressing in your field. Knowledge in the subject matter is very important along with the necessary skills and abilities required. You want something, you just need to go out and get it with a focussed mind and be consistent. Finding a job is a job itself.
You can use Linkedin which i find a very powerful professional site.
Wish you the very best.
The mantra for an professional starter is grounding your basics (in your case Financials) and then moving onto any specialty (in your case Costing, Budgeting, Receivables, Payables or Inventory etc.) of your choice and then concentrating on it with respect to any ERP (SAP, Oracle, MS Axapta) etc.
Now when you are ready to rock n roll, n confident of yourself you are in a better position to market yourself, by networking, online presence etc.
I'm sure from here on you could take off....
Regards,
