Word-of-mouth, a like on Facebook or a retweet on Twitter is VIRAL and VITAL. Don’t lose it's marketing potential while you already had it, buy having them satisfied. Customer naturally like to be made loyal as opposed to going through the hustle of searching, comparing and switching. So, make it easy for them to gain their appreciation. Practice the following:

 

  1. Customer retention: stay in contact, get back to old or “inactive” customers and trigger their attention with something they either need or can’t resist without fooling them.
  2. Satisfaction surveying: generate, motivate & reward feedback (either online, after purchase, after delivery or after a while via personalized email or generically via social media)
