ALL marketing nowadays IS Digital Marketing, including "word-of-mouth" (Likes, Votes & Favourited Tweets). Do you agree?

- If yes, why does the term "Digital Marketing" exist separately? - If no, is there any kind of marketing that is "non-digital" or totally "digitization-free"? If yes, what kind?

You are right as far as the product is a mass utilized product or a consumer product. Other products like a machinery or a healthcare product will not come under the purview of digital marketing. The outcome of digital marketing are not always a real picture as it suggests. Nowadays people send likes without even applying their mind. When actual buying decisions are taken, the same person may not opt for that product.

Marketing is about identifying the target customer and reaching maximum audience  , digital marketing has become more effective as it is capable of doing both in fraction of seconds .

But it all depends on the kind of product ,  a company is offering  for eg . A Hotel Room can be marketed digitally , but it is very difficult to market a Perfume/ Cologne / Itrar via the digital media

One  cannot just rely or market a tunnel drilling machine or a Heavy Duty  Industrial Compressor or a Small Bearing that goes in to a mechanical machine digitally

Word of Mouth is a form of marketing that is traditional & is used for such products

although i am not familiar or into the marketing areas, but I would say "YES" to any use of the current technologies to promote your business. whoever is not changing their traditional way will eventually and unfortunately die "the business". I am happy to see people they are trying their best to use the current innovation in any kind to promote their businesses which is very smart specially nowadays people are hardly have time to a sales person to walk in and talk for couples of minutes just to promote the business. I would rather setting at home, checking my social media accounts and see all the promotions very carefully and take my plenty of time to take a decision about weither i will need this or not.

Not all. Lower income communities and households are exposed to products and services in a very different way. In South Africa, newspapers and radio ads still have a very big following, due to this being a developing country. Newspapers and magazines still have a very high circulation rate, with a single magazine being read by up to 11 readers. We see this especially in lower income households where people don't necesarily have access to the internet or data.

Yes both are equally important implementation vary product to product. However , conventional marketing is still alive.

I wouldn't say ALL marketing is digital marketing, especially since you have to take into consideration the older, senior-aged market that most of us are looking to access. The problem with having marketing be completely digital is that we haven't really taught the older generations how to access it, use it to their benefit, and pass that knowledge on to their friends who are the same age. You have to understand that - in the Middle East specifically - technology is kind of a new thing for seniors. Cell phones are space-age technology in their eyes, and when the internet became a huge thing back in 1994, no one really knew what do with it unless they were within the 12-25 age range. Even my father, who is the GM of a huge oil and gas company in the MENA region, could not grasp just how massively famous the internet would become and just how many uses we could get out of it. So to say that all marketing is digital would be a false statement, and underestimation of the effectiveness of traditional marketing.

I can not agree with this statement because there are some difference among various marketing, its vary on places, product quality etc.

Digital Marketing is the done by the use of internet which is measurable, interactive and viral. The internet can help companies promote their brands, generate leads and convert them. More and more business is depending on digital marketing since business follow consumers. People are so clued on to consume digital content through their laptops and specially their mobiles, tablets, etc that brands can only get their attention by being available on these devices. Also, social media consumption is only increasing since due to many constraints on time and the need to do more within a limited period.

Other forms of marketing does exist like Events, road  signs, tv, radio and print media. However, all these forms of marketing are also using the digital format to connect and engage with the interactive digital medium. Any agency using the traditional media can benefit from the usage of the digital media to leverage the customer reach.

The noise you make in the market has to be relevant and create value for the consumers.
