Difficult people is a broad word,let us first understand why some is difficult to understand.I strongly believe here key is active listening.One must listen to those people's concerns as to why they behave certain way or react certain way.So accordingly we can categorize those people as below:-
Now to deal with those people you need to be very sensitive towards them,spend more time with them initially and listen them,creat a trust based relationship so that they can share their concers with you.Once that is done you have to use different leadership techniques to deal with them accordingly so that neither the productivity nor their personal self esteem is erroded.
After all of the above it is right communication which will make them feel valued ,generate their interest to do particular job in best way possible.
