As far as my experienced is concern regarding interview session I have a general format for that session;
1 – I always start with latest experience of candidate and confirm my the understanding how the candidate is doing the job with reference to his statements mentioned in resume and most of the time candidates over states in resume.
2 – Other than current & past experiences, I tool details about the qualifications and for fresh candidates I always asked about intern or project which they did and their role in it.
3 – With reference to the specialization of the candidate, I gather data about the sector development or latest happening in order to gauge their understanding and knowledge about the happenings and this helps us to determine their awareness about their field.
4 – I do ask about some personality related pointers also like anger, motivational factors, about their family and socialization and last but not the least about their expectation from us.
With a combination of above questions and other than that also I go for and try to probe and get the most of them so that my shortlisted candidates are not rejected from2nd level due to general fit requirements.
