Both A & B... Though there are different kinds of Value added Re Sellers.... Most basic are those... Who either source a single product or collect the combination of interlinked products... Create value by adding serviceability, delivery convenience, bundle up with other products or increase quality of service, efficiency. Convenience , trustability for a price. Banks for example some times act as a value reseller while selling say mutual funds. They will collect schemes from various providers , bundle them up, provide feedback on each of them, their historic performance details etc usually for an fixed amount for every trade... Which includes their profit :-)
