How can you design shear wall in STAADPro?

Use surface element to assign shear wall however as personal opinion I used to run etabs to analysis shear walls, etabs considers shear wall as liner member so results given ,are moment Mu and liner force Nu, this approximate is more practical to calculate reinforcing steel for shear wall

hi, its not directly plate element. you have to model the shear wall with surface element. then you have to input all the necessary parameters for shear wall to finalize design. 

actually in staad pro you can't design plate element for moment Mxy while surface element have this facilities.
