yea , i think that the role of teacher changed in the past few years
Many teachers today, are encouraged to adapt and adopt new practices that acknowledge both the art and science of learning. They understand that the essence of education is a close relationship between a knowledgeable, caring adult and a secure, motivated child. They grasp that their most important role is to get to know each student as an individual in order to comprehend his or her unique needs, learning style, social and cultural background, interests, and abilities.
yes, because method of teaching also change the requirement of the students also change, curriculum change infrastructure change. Now more application based teaching, is required knowledge of modern method of teaching required, and its good for the teachers to accept this change, though some times its difficult.
Increased business teacher
I absolutely believe that the role of Teacher has changed in the pst few years. Teachers used to lecture and focus on delivering and presenting the knowledge. Know the role of a teacher has changed. No longer should a teacher be delivering lectures from the front of the class, Teachers should now take on the role of facilitator. Instead of delivering lectures, they should be encouraging students in hands on student centric learning activities that are differentated for learning prefrences and ability levels. Students should use the Blooms Taxonomy Stages in the activities and remember the learning pyramid structure.
I would say it has slightly changed, he, no longer, has the control of his domain, other school elements share him his work, yet it is not well defined, and he is not aware of the external interference. He lives the creative chaos that would produce something genuine.
For me Yes i absolutely agree that the role of a teacher has changed this past few years, In a way that they don't do spoon feeding they just instruct and the lecture goes on. Plus with the use of modern technologies it has make the work easier for the teacher fast and more knowledgeable to the students.
I think technology has a major role in changing the teaching method, and therefore the teacher must be able to keep pace with developments, especially since the student’s mentality has become more modern.
Yes, teachers are no longer the only source of knowledge infact they should be facilitators who creates learning to occur. With the advancing technology new theories peer teaching is also a power to reckon with. The fact that times have changed where parents are also key source of knowledge., the role of the teacher again changes to systematically reconstract the already knowledge that the learners enters schooling with. They are more of curriculum designers and implementors I would suggest.
Teaching in recent years is just a matter of knowledge send from teacher to reciepent ( studient), computer can do this better and more accurate, but at the same time it can not build scientest. Tahts the real role of teatcher.
