Super Critical is  usable in Once-through boiler, where, there is no boiler-drum/ Steam-drum.In thermodynamic cycle there is Critical-point, that is220 KG/Sq.cm &374 Degree Centigrade. There Water is directly converted into steam, no latent Heat required for state change from water to Steam.

As for example we take30 Degree water at1kg/sq.cm .Now we add heat to increase the temperature of water upto100 degree Centigrade, that heat is known as Sensible-heat. Now at100 degree we add heat for state change from water to steam, that heat is the latent heat.

As we increase the pressure , boiling point increases.
