It depends on your network design and complexity

If you have a small network, you can use rip

if your equipemnts all is cisco, use EIGRP and that's if your network medium or large and complex

Otherwise, you must do it with OSPF and it's the best because of vendors suuports ( Linux - UNIX - Cisco - Juniper - HP ... etc )

It depends upon your Network topology.

OSPF (multivendor environment) & EIGRP (Cisco Only) are best if nodes are less than 200, but for 200+ nodes ISIS routing protocol is the best.

RIP v2 if you have a simple network

EIGRP if you only have cisco and mid-large network

OSPF if you have different Vendors and mid-large network

Best to use EIGRP. OSPF can be used with EIGRP once you have any non-CISCO device. Go on with EIGRP.

EIGRP beause it's speed of conversion is very high in compare remains routing protocole but if u have different different vender router  device then then OSPF is best beause EIGRP has some limitation it's supported only cisco devoice

Check EIGRP, it is the best routing protocol and it is a open protocol now.

My take is:

1. If you are using all routers from a cisco EIGRP is better,

2. otherwise OSPF flexible works with many vendors devices.

The Best Routing protocol in cisco is EIGRP because it uses DUAL to provide very quick convergence and a loop-free network.

But for different Devices OSP is the best, as it supports in all the routing devices

Its depends on your network size and network devices.if your net work is mid level and all your devices is cisco EIGRP is best routing protocol for you. But if you have multi vendor devices and your network is big and complex you should use OSFP and it is best for your network.

Eigrp is best protocol when you have all cisco vendor devices but ospf is also good on cisco and non- cisco devices it is good when you do redistribution from anyother protocol into ospf but in eigrp case it is not that much effective for redistribution into any other protocol.eigrp is always good within igp cisco devices but no as good as ospf when you do redistribution.
