How to control torrent downloading up-to minimum via port forwarding in LAN router?

Stop Torrent downloading or at-least make is not grabbing maximum network bandwidth, bottle neck torrent operation.

depends on which router you are using, the best i suggest is to find the torrent sites , like thepiratebay bittorrent and so on.

 

find the trackers.

 

at last, block all those links and sites from firewall, better block their ips.

 

or use "Layer7 Protocol" if avail in router feature

I'll choose the QoS for blocking the torrent downloading.  But till now I haven't come across the means by which we can completely block the torrent downloading.

do in access rules. apply bndwth. for examples incoming traffic,100KB/second outgooing traffic500KB/seond.

must be blocked at firwallles torrent ports (typically: ports but sometimes the ports6969 and7000)

In Access Rules We can define the policy or it can also be done by setting policy in QOS. The best is define ACL and only allow ports which are allowed by company policy and restrict all other ports.
