Basically,D.C.Fuse is blown off due to short circuiting in a D.C. Panel. The causes of short circuiting are:

1) Thyrister / Thyristers may be short circuited.

2) Loose connection of D.C.fuse in it's link ( in case of link type fuse )

3) Short circuiting in the D.C.Power circuit.
