Customer Equity is a value of potential future revenue generated by a company's customers in a lifetime. A company with high customer equity will be valued at a higher price than a company with a low customer equity.

Customer Equity is important because it incorporates so many other measures important to the marketing team and presents it as a point measure, or better, as a probability distribution.
