When there is a change in management or leadership, there will be an expected shift in strategies. However, the new management will have to work from where the last team left off. From point A to point B, he must chart the new course. That's where the strategy or the new plan steps in

It depends if the previous sales manager had good sales results, I would say he can continue, but it would be much better if he brings some fresh new ideas and upgrades to the strategy. If the previous results were bad and if t there was many flaws in the previous strategy, certainly from my point of view it would be a very bad move if he continuew working based on the previous manager's strategy.
