Actually typing speed mesured in Word per Minut / Key strockes per hours/ Character pe Minut.

And Typing speed is how much you to type (characters/alphabates) from the computer key board

Around70 words per minute. Assuming that the average word is about5 or6 characters long, then my keystrokes =70*6=420 characters per minute.  And for1 hr, I'd have420*60 =21000 keystrokes. Using your formula, I would have:70*300 =210000

Typing (alpha data entry) is usually measure in WPM/KPH .35 is usually the minimum requirement.60is very good.80 or above is executive secretary level, which is also usually a very good-paying job.

Dear Anas Ibdah, What our colleague Mr.
Asanka Lakaml Morawaka mentioned is correct.
However, the answer was already mentioned in my answers of previously asked questions:
1- How important is it for Data Entry Clerks to know their keystrokes Per Hour (KPH)?
2- How can I measure my data input speed and what units can I use? And you can find the proper answers for your inquiries about DATA ENTRY.
Our way in writing any question should serve the purpose behind that question itself and raise the value of knowledge level in minds.
I hope you will definitely assist in doing that role.
Thanks

Data entry speed is simply the measurement of speed which data put in to database via computer keyboard.
It is normally recorded in KPH (keystrokes per hour) or WPM (Words prr minutes)
