There are two type of books.

1. The books on religious topics, and

2. The books on other topics relating to our life on earth.

Reading of religious books is our obligation and need for preparation for the next world, while reading of other books can have so many reasons. Some people read for enjoyment, some for getting knowlege, some for learning basic things etc etc. I read both.

I read many self-motivation books. Not only do these books teach you how to motivate yourself, but they also give you new perspectives. They are mind-transforming, raise self-awareness, propel you forward, and give you tons of hope and advice. Yet, not all self-motivation books are worth reading. There is the good, bad, and ugly, so to speak. One has to be choosey, and feed his mind with good stuff. Some self-motivation books may do you more harm than good. You have to be discerning in your choice. Always read the best self-motivation books.
