It depends on the scenario; in general we do use our group presence, nature of job which we are offering and scope of job.

God has given everyone talent. All that glitters is not Gold. And sometimes diamond does not glitter if not polished. It is musch less expensive but labourius to polish and nurture the talent you have . Give him /her equal oppertunity in Internal job postings.

Trust me if you hire a so called top talent and place him above emploees who have been loyal to you all these years paying him a handsome salary much higher than people who could be as talented but never given a chance you are inviting ATTRITION on a large scale.

Even the top talent may not scceed if not supported by his subbordinates.
